Widuz Showcases Bamboo-Based Innovation at Circular Valley® Demo Day

Widuz is proud to have represented Singapore at the Circular Valley® Demo Day, joining an elite international cohort of 14 startups driving innovation in the circular economy. As part of Circular Valley’s 5th batch, Widuz had the opportunity to present our bamboo-based material technologies on a global stage, in the heart of Europe’s circular innovation hub.
Held in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region, the Demo Day featured solutions from founders spanning the globe — including the USA, Ecuador, Nigeria, Yemen, and Singapore. Each startup showcased technologies designed to reduce emissions, conserve raw materials, and cut costs — the core pillars of an impactful circular economy.
At Widuz, we’re tackling material waste with a high-performance, sustainable alternative: bio-composites made from fast-regenerating bamboo. Our pitch highlighted how this natural resource can be transformed into durable materials that replace conventional wood, plastic, and concrete — enabling circularity without compromising performance.
